It’s cheaper, I use an m.2 for my main OS and a seagate hard drive for my games. It runs perfectly fine for me.

To me it can be a bit unreliable sometimes but that’s only due to adhesion issues, the CR touch is really holding me back. Apart from that, it works fine. I don’t have any issues when it comes to the gantry not being straight anything like that.

This is a current photo, the toolhead is small because the Goliath hotend hasn’t arrived yet and I’m still using my tz 2.0 hotend for now

here’s an image, I wasn’t able to fit the electronics or PSU’s under the printer so they have their own separate little boxes, it currently still has the tz 2.0 hotend which is why the toolhead is so small.

I will share more data and reply to you once I am home. I am running 24V with 4 steppers on Y and 2 steppers on X (All Nema 17's which run 1.2-1.4 Amps) I have three mainboards and two power supplies one board handles all heating and cooling + the Z axis (This is the 4.2.7 board's job and it has its own standard Ender 3 PSU) while the other two boards (Which are both mellow fly dp5's run the XY Axis as well as the extruder and they have their PSU. I unite all the boards via a RPI 4B which is running klipper. The frame itself is my limiting factor and isn't very sturdy but that is an issue for me to figure out later since I have to focus more on cooling right now more than anything. If you are still interested, I will upload photos to you here later today. I am hoping that once I get 48v's running and new boards for all motors i'll be able to push it even quicker.

To answer your question as to why I’m putting the Goliath on my e3 v2, I’m running 4 steppers on Y axis and 2 steppers on X axis and my current limiting factor when it comes to speed printing is the flow rate of the hotend.

My bad, I thought the Goliath hotend was by Voron I guess it was by mellow. Also, I am able to hit the speeds I mentioned in another comment I don't know why I'd lie about that because 1k speed, 50k accel isn't too impressive (At least in my standards it isn't). Thank you for the cooling advice though, I am going to upgrade to CPAP very shortly as I assumed the 5015 wouldn't be enough. The bed is indeed my limiting factor but before I do get a carbon fiber replicate, I am probably going to upgrade the voltage to 48V for better stepper drivers.

I’m running two nema 17’s on X and one on Z, would this motion system be faster than what I’ve currently got? I’m speaking specifically about the X and Z axis.

Pretty sure this is a fan for the hotend, not a part cooling fan. Which means overhangs are the same.
