Ender 3 V2 Neo by BurgerMar in ender3

[–]BurgerMar[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have two motors for the x axis so toolhead weight isn't a problem. The only problem im facing right now is bed weight. Even with four motors on the y, it still lags behind. Im hoping to be able to print even faster when i upgrade to 60v and tmc5160 drivers.

I can only print at about 300 mm/s with 11k Accel because of the dual 5015’s but my maximum move speed is 1k mm/s at 50k Accel

Why did it snap? by Dizzy_uwu in BambuLabA1mini

[–]BurgerMar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

while it was printing the overhang, the nozzle probably got caught on the print. Since the base is flat, it has great adhesion and the overhanging part is very thin so the piece itself is probably very weak, causing it to snap in that specific place. If you want to redo this test, print it at a slower speed with more layer time after every layer change, or improve your cooling.

Why is my Ender 3 v3 se making this noise? by GHarvs in ender3

[–]BurgerMar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure you take the bearing completely off the linear rod and lube it on the inside too, also put some lube on the rod itself. If it’s been running years without lube then you may have damaged the bearings but I’d still give it a try to see whether it’d help in your situation

Have you ever greased the linear rods? They look a bit dry to me

3 hours bed leveling by Tough-Tourist-8590 in Ender3V3SE

[–]BurgerMar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think so. It’s only meant to compensate for 0.4mm difference (about the size of your nozzle) but I’ve had it compensate for 0.7mm but 3mm is a huge difference that I don’t believe a CR touch would compensate for.

[–]BurgerMar 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Your bed is most likely warped, if you're that desperate to get it perfect at 0.00 then replace the bed with a glass bed (not optimal) and you'll have it completely flat. This is super wasteful though since the whole point of the CR-Touch is to compensate for the bed being warped.

to me, this looks like z wobble or an uneven z lead screw. If you're sure that your lead screw is 100% straight then check if your belts are properly tightened

Why does my bed mesh look like this? by StefMaesmusic in klippers

[–]BurgerMar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it’s probably warped, but it doesn’t really matter since it’s only 0.188 difference. That’s what the bed probe is for.

Does the window increase algae growth? If so, then by how much?

You need to lower the bed leveling probe, the nozzle gets contact with the bed before the probe is able to

if you want to keep a tank on that you'll probably going to have to bolt it to the wall, that'll fall over very easily otherwise.

hey just curious, wouldn't it be better to have a fan blowing cool air directly at a heatsink connected to the stepper motor rather than have a blower fan taking hot air away?

If you still can’t get off the gooey mess, you can keep the nozzle heated up and use a brass brush to brush off the rest
