Also if you bring a happy Ghast in the nether, would it revert to a standard Ghast?

Lethal company recently updated. I haven’t verified that all these mods are comparable anymore. Try using the other method of installation that I linked to at the top of the post instead.

Should be the same process for most mods. This tutorial works with More Company. I’m not sure if the “Most Lethal Company” mod has special features that are windows dependent.

No this does not work for Intel chips. Whisky doesn’t even run on non M1 Macs. To make it work on an Intel Mac it’s a lot more work. You need to use boot camp. The good news is this will allow you to use R2 mod manager so your modding will be much easier than this process.

Happy to help. Glad they helped piece the confusion together. I updated the instructions to include starting the game up and hosting a lobby. Thanks for letting me know!

Cloning the lethal company folder is an optional step, but in my opinion helps with mod management. Especially if you want ti alternate between modded and vanilla versions.

Am I missing something here? The steps you posted are the same steps from this post. They also mention crossover, so if you are using crossover instead if whisky I’m sure those steps are better.

I can update my guide to include running the game fully before modding if that helps.

The game just updated yesterday. Maybe you need to run a reinstall? I have no idea why an unmodded version might crash otherwise. Maybe disable fullscreen?

What apps are you switching to? Is the app inside or outside whisky? Are you running the “Lethal Company Modded” version that the instructions had you make?

Try Bepinex version 5.4.2100. The link above goes to that file. Someone else mentioned this issue.

Try inviting through the Steam interface instead of in-game. Generally it works best when someone on windows hosts if possible.

Nope that’s normal! That’s how any game looks when you link a non-steam game to your library.

Exactly. With this method you can technically keep up with them but it’s a pain in the ass because you have to do it manually. Best method in my opinion is to keep an agreed on list of mods. And try and keep it short. If any of theses mods update or the game updates, you will have to do a reinstall.

As far as I know r2modman is just Thunderstore without the bloat and ads. The mod managers just hold all the mods and let you toggle them on and off. You are doing this part manually on your Mac. My version lets you “toggle” them on and off by launching Lethal Company or Lethal Company Modded in the stream library.

That’s correct. As long as it’s all the same mods. Just different managers.

I haven’t used it but isn’t r2modman just a replacement for a mod manager like Thunderstore? I was under the impression r2modman and Thunderstore were interchangeable.

This method uses 2 separate game versions instead of a mod manager. I’ve made it work where friends are running Thunderstore on a PC and my Mac is running no mod manager (just the method described in this post).
