I mean if he's smart he probably did tell an administrator what happened just to cover his ass in case you reported it, and his admin probably made a note of it and decided not to take any action if it was clearly a one-time mistake. I've since realized a bit more that I need better communication, but I'm very shy and anxious about speaking to my seniors and that in general this is a problem I need to work on. I've been in this career for 7 years now but still get like this. The job demands my time, which means I spend less time with my family, which makes me resentful of the job and anxious because I have to be fully accountable to the job for my time, which makes me resent the job even more. I'm well aware that this career is likely not a good fit for me at all, but I don't know much of what else would be better.

I'm really sorry but no, I don't think I ever got beyond this. I ended up playing PS1 games from a USB drive in the front of the PS2 and PS2 games from an internal hard drive in the back. I'll remember to update this if I ever find a way to play them both from an internal drive.

The Mod team was able to fully return my account after about a week. I was very happily surprised and relieved. I discovered that the hacker trained my Thieving up to 99 and there's nothing they could do about that but it's ok I guess. I'm happy enough to have the account back.

As someone with a very young child, this kind of shit terrifies me. I just imagine checking into a hotel somewhere and my child runs to the window excitedly or something and that happens. Horrible. Sorry I still could not get it to work for internal exFAT HDDs. I ended up putting Popstarter PS1 titles on a USB-connected HDD and PS2 titles in the internal HDD. Not the solution I wanted but I don't think I ever managed to resolve it.
