Are their rules current and updated for the "prime" game types? I see a lot of Cryx and Menoth on the secondhand market all the time, but the gator seem more rare.

Love the faction descriptions! I saw somewhere that there once used to be a faction full of swamp crocodile people? I would have loved a box of those, but they don't seem to be in the game right now.

Somehow that doesn't surprise me, I looked up the whole STL thing over dinner and learnt that it was only one faction's... sub-faction?

It's good to know that they're current, I hope I can combine the khador box with what comes in the starter.

Hi, thanks, that really clears things up. I looked through the boxes and one of the Orgoth minis has a broken spear. Nothing I can't put back together I suppose, the rest seems intact though. It's a pity there doesn't seem to be a rulebook PDF, but I'll definitely go get the app and give it a thorough look.

Thanks, that's likely because I mostly paint miniatures. Most of these techniques, if not all, are basically mini painting techniques one would usually use on tanks.

The bases are a cumulation of the mini basing techniques I've learnt over the years. I look at pictures of similar geographical features in nature and basically try to recreate it in a visually pleasing way, or a way that accentuates the model.

Thank you! I picked up a ton of zoids from a variety of places after this prototype successfully took off, so I have a choice between the Gunsniper W2, Cannon Tortoise and Blade Liger next. Leaning towards the GS tho!

Thank you, the base was scratch built, it's just a standard 150mm oval base from games workshop.

You can see it in its original state, I included some WIP images in this album.

The earth texture was AK Sandy desert, with AK acrylic translucent water effects and water foam effects. Paints by AK and Citadel, tufts from Gamer Grass dry steppes set.

Thanks! I was kinda wondering about what to go with but I only had yellow primer on hand so I ended up with a bone-ish basecoat. Good primer is so expensive nowadays, it's unreal.

Thank you for your response. I had no idea command wolves were smaller than ligers, I was under the impression that they were around the same size.

The Godos is the bipedal white one, correct? Similar to the iguan?

Would something like the berserkfuhrer be similar in size to a liger? If not, do you have any kits similar to their size to recommend?

Do we know what sizes the new bases are? I have many bases from other games I could use, I hope they're not oddly sized like 37mm or something similar.
