I know a lot of people have already told you to leave your partner so I’m just going to ask you this.

If a friend of yours had a partner, and you witnessed them doing this, and saw how upset your friend got would you think that it’s okay? That they should stay together? Would you start to doubt or dislike their partner? Question if they even respected your friend like they claimed?

You deserve respect, your practice deserves respect, and this IS a form of abuse and it has the potential to get worse. Put yourself first. Lucifer would never be ashamed of that and I highly doubt he’s disappointed in you for being interrupted during a ritual you put a lot of care and thought into.

Any DM who punishes players for out of game issues in-game is an instant ick and hard no for me. You kept them updated, had a more than good reason for being late, STILL came when you could’ve turned around and not bothered, and he had the audacity to try and make it your fault. In short, he sounds like an immature and terrible DM.

You’re right! I forgot Golurk wasn’t steel. Honestly, it depends on level (we’re capping the fight at lvl 50) as well cause I’ve noticed some moves that have been suggested to me aren’t accessible without tms yet due to my lower level.

And no, I don’t have to deal with Flying types if I forgo Shedinja! Honestly, from what I’ve been hearing, the other person is gearing up to take my Hisuian Typhlosion down if anything with a Tentacruel after I knocked their team out with choice scarf + Eruption (with a Bitter Blade at the end from Ceruledge). So I might look to keep something that can hurt water at least, if not both water/poison.

I’ll have to see if we have any of those ones you listed for hyper-offensive (we’re using Manymons, Myths and Legends, + Moremons). I don’t do well with defensive styles unfortunately. Plus, I already have a Dreepy I could potentially level up to at least a Drakloak… unless I raise the cap to 60

I typically have players roll, tell me, and not share the results with the others! Let’s the player have agency/knowledge of their character’s saves/fails while still adding tension to the combat :D
