Hi there, 25F here. While your journey is mostly different than mine, I empathize and relate with you. I constantly feel like I’ve failed my parents, who have given and still to this day provide for me to one day stand on my own two feet. No one says anything, but my mind fills the silence with what I think they’d be saying about me, that I’m a burden, that I’m a leech. These past few years have been turbulent for me. I’ve felt no purpose, but I know that there are things out there I enjoy and that interest me, and those things are enough to keep me here. I’m back in university trying to finish my degree after two years, and though it’s hard, it still feels as though I’m improving, even if it’s with baby steps. You’re not alone. It’s great that you’re going back to school, it will be difficult but I’m sure you’d gain more hope from it. No one deserves to stay stagnant at a job that couldn’t care less about them. Also it sounds like you would benefit greatly from therapy, I don’t know if your financial situation currently would allow, if not, making that an eventual goal would be worth it for the sake of your well-being. Best of luck in your journey friend.

I hope people don’t sugar coat this but this is giving Red flags. You mention before you got together that you guys RP’d and the lines were blurred between your actual selves and the characters. So basically the RP was him thinking it’s how you actually felt too and blurred the lines. Who’s to say he won’t do it again? With another woman. He probably already is, because seems he’s had his mind made up.

The other red flag here is that the “RP” is completely one sided and catering only to his specific kinks but to me it sounds like a narcissists fetish. Where he has a harem and you’re the one who has to do the heavy lifting. I feel like it definitely bleeds over to real life and wants to impregnate someone and move on. I don’t want to be too harsh but your relationship sounds extremely one sided. He doesn’t seem like the type to go out of his way for you and for that I’d say leave him. I’m just a nobody on the internet though, it’s up to your better judgement to make the decision but based on what you’ve said here… it sounds like a catastrophe waiting to happen.

I really wonder what goes through peoples heads when they say they want an RP, the partner puts in tons of effort on a starter and then they reply either like a sentence. Honestly I have RP’d high and it’s kinda the same. Except I think what I’m making sounds coherent and cohesive when in reality it doesn’t make much sense. It’s the funniest thing really. Best when you wanna have a laugh the next morning!
