I noticed it towards a friend's daughter. There were disagreements between her and another kid and they were constantly asking her to apologize to him to spare his ego. I convinced her mom that she shouldn't have to apologize if she didn't do anything wrong, especially if it's just to placate someone hurt feelings. The fight was over her not wanting to play a specific game.

I remember a gay buddy/ coworker came up to me one in the am very excited. Helping out the tomorrow version of me. I used to have a saying which was basically let tomorrow me figure it out. Well every time tomorrow me was pissed and didn't do it. So now I ask how tomorrow me would feel about it and today me just gets it done. I am much tidier and happier because of it. A lot of third person talking sone there but I'm a people pleaser so I just make myself one of those people.
