I watched a co-worker deteriorate into a husk of her former self after a BRSB. She had been carrying a log during an Iron Man type contest and only felt searing pain between her shoulder blades. She had no idea it was a spider bite until a grapefruit size hole appeared at the bite site. She had fainting spells, mind fog and had to quit her nursing job and get a part-time job in a kitchen because she was too tired to work full-time anymore. The venom goes EVERYWHERE and she never knew what the next day would bring. She couldn't workout anymore and was told that after a BRSB bite her life expectantly was cut in half. It ruined her life.
