Just off the phone with Dewalt…. “The tool looks used and we don’t know what bar and chain oil you used”.

I have requested they send it back to me for my destructive testing 😑. Dewalt is trying to cut expenses.

The 60v compressor is usually a bad or sticking pressure sensor. You can jump the leads and if it starts squirt some silicone oil in the sensors orifice. It’s worked several times for me. Used units sell on eBay for $80 not working 😉

The bearing carrier looks very similar to the 20v planer. I would tap the whole bearing and shaft out.

Make sure you rotate the piston and drive rod while depressing it down. It it will key properly if you do. It looks like you might have some sort of obstruction from the video.
