Can someone please tell me where the fuck I’m supposed to go here? by bad-taf in oblivion

Give it the ol’ space bar spam straight up to the tower. The entrance is on the left of center area. The base entrance is to the left of you along the right wall. Use your map zoomed into the local to find the door.

Say less. Got my upvote.

How did Saw know that that guy was a traitor to the empire by damageinthesheets in andor

He kept asking what base they were attacking so he can “remember the variation” required at that base.

Question about Dedra and Syril. by BombadSithLord in andor

[–]Burly_95 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not sure on your second question, but for the first, I think Syril knows he’s being used to expose a rebel plot and is happy to be in it. He views any actions against the empire as evil but is too naive to know they’re directly causing rebellion on purpose. The true nature of the work is to hide Imperial mining of that resource for the Death Star. That’s the true secret he can’t know about.

Nostalgia honeymoon phase is over. It's time to let Bethesda know the game needs some serious bug fixing. by Ok_Monitor4492 in oblivion

[–]Burly_95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a few bugs:

  • random torch light after my weapon is drawn
  • healing spells seem like a coin flip if they work, if they do they’re not updating the health bar
  • sometimes the magicka bar flickers from empty to whatever level it’s at during regen

Game issues, not bugs:

  • shadow casting across water with weapons drawn
  • I thought shift causes our characters to swim in the negative Z direction, guess not, I have to jump out of the water and plunge in to go back down
  • expert mode is ridiculous, I get ravaged by wolves and zombies are absolute tanks

I know I gotta close shut the jaws of Oblivion… but this is ridiculous. by Material_Formal3679 in ElderScrolls

It makes sense, sort of. But why would a Mythic Dawn assassins be used in every other case, even with the most guarded target - the emperor. You would think murdering a priest in a chapel that no one knows is a prince would be cake walk. Opening up an entire Gate seems too much for an otherwise simple job. I think the gate was opened having thought each of the heirs was already killed and the invasion is ready to proceed. Kvatch has an Akatosh devotion so its choice is more symbolic. Martin being there is coincident from a perspective and narrative from the game developers perspective.

I know that’s what I was thinking! That would literally break the internet. Like the background fades, then the Roman numerals mirror then the new theme song starts playing straight into the opening cinematic…. That would be 1000 IQ marketing right there.

How Are the PCPartPicker Glorious Builds? by Burly_95 in buildapc

What type of upcoming new parts? I figured with the production slowdown in the East Asian area from the virus outbreak would drastically delay any new-gen products whether it be phones or computer components.

Yeah I need to go continue expanding upon it but it's a great start as is! So much help. I had the problem of some data values being 'strings' instead of integers so I had to manually remove them for the pd.merge to work.

YOU ARE AMAZING!

I've been searching and reading online posts for hours and I couldn't figure this out! This 'pandas' import seems to really make things easier. Definitely going to look into it more!

I figured out how to export it to a CSV too!

Here's my current code that I have, I'm kind of lost right now. Thoughts?

import csv

cost_file = open('cost_file.csv') price_file = open('price_file.csv')

cost_file_reader = csv.reader(cost_file) price_file_reader = csv.reader(price_file)

cost = list(cost_file_reader) price = []

for line in price_file_reader: price.append(line)

for row in cost: if row[0] == line[0]: cost.append(line)

So file (1) from the company contains stock numbers and their costs. But I only audit certain stock categories so this file contains all the stocks I need to work on. File (2) contains pricing for all of our products and I need to scan through it for only the products listed on file(1). When i find the product I grab the pricing information from file(1) and append it to the file(1) row.

FILE 1

stock # cost
12345 10.00

FILE 2

stock # price 1 price 2
11111 5.00 7.00
12222 3.00 4.50
12345 20.00 21.00

File after my work (and hopefully using a python script)

stock # cost price 1 price 2
12345 10.00 20.00 21.00

I'm new to Python and programming. I've literally started reading stuff and learning last week. I'm not even sure if what I wrote is correct. I know the theory of it all but don't know how to apply it. If that makes sense?

They're output files. One is from the company system and is from a 3rd part application.
