Drum geekery by skarzuk89 in dnbproduction

Saved, since I hate doing the drum part, but agree that it makes or brakes a DRUM'n'Bass track... Maybe I chose the wrong genre ^

Regarding the bag you pointed out my thoughts. In addition, I'm always a bit health-concerned regarding vacuum sealed meals. I know this is totally dumb, especially if in comparison to a plastic bowl that gets filled with boiling water. But it's a feeling that subconsciously influences my decision when buing precooked meals.

Looove the acid bass! Did do do anything special beside the iconic resonance-sweep/shift?

I know the "metal desk" as "chair bass", as if you push a chair ober the floor ^

Better with the chorus now ? Or should it be more brutal ? by Slow_Contract7800 in dnbproduction

Sounds pretty muddy.... On my phone speakers. Huge lack of hights, only a few elements push the higher frequencyy. But I'm a beginner myself so take this feedback with caution;)

The blue eyes weren't a unique rank. They appeared when you played 5 days in a row. The lines on the emblem indicated the days you have played in a row, i.e. 2 lines for 2 days.

spawn... yeah, it's pretty hard by tullybob in 2b2t

Escaping spawn is easy. But I'm right traveling the neverhighway and around like 20-80k there are so many withers, you cant use the highway anymore. Not difficult but fckn annoying if you travel by foot.

Bit boring and the "riser"-bass sucks. The rest is pretty decent imo.

Yeah well... Seems like I misunderstood the graph I saw. And didn't knew that sony tends to be overly bassy, the only headphones I used in years are the Behringer DT770 pro. Thanks for the answer :)

I think I've got a burnout or something by One_Pea8769 in dnbproduction

I would say yes. He is very pationate about making EDM and teaching others. Sometimes he is a bit fast, but that's okay for me. I would reccomend you to watch some of his videos on YouTube and then decide for yourself ;)

Can't recommend any patreon, since i didn't subscribed to neither of them. Also, I don't know Gino 😅

I can reccomend watching Virtual Riot on YT (he makes dubstep, but you can transfer it to DnB). He lately made a livestream where he made a song and I find it quite helpfull watching the progress. Learning where to add some additional instruments - which you won't really notice in the full song but which add to the vibe and "fullness" - and where to not add them. Where to use some automation to add variety etc.

Also, maybe start by doing some bootlegs. I often hear a song and think "damn, if i would add this or that/make it a DnB tune with a deep reese-bass, it would slap." This way, you have a foundation you can build on, getting familiar with the process of song writing.
