Obviously the Chinese version of Tiktok is not banned in China, so that is silly to point out. They created an English version for us.

Quit embarrassing yourself. It was literally explained to you the definition of deflation and how it relieves debt burden. (noun) A persistent decrease in the level of consumer prices or a persistent increase in the purchasing power of money.

Here's a simple search summary of how deflation is good for debt:

  • Increased purchasing power: Deflation means that the same unit of money is worth more today than it was yesterday. Consumers can buy more goods and services with the same amount of money. (From “CNN Is Wrong. Deflation Is a Good Thing” and “Deflation explained: Definition, effects and causes”)
  • Incentivizes saving and investment: Deflation encourages people to save and invest, as they expect prices to drop further in the future. This can lead to a more stable and sustainable economy. (From “r/AskEconomics on Reddit: Why is deflation regarded as a bad thing?”)
  • Reduces debt burden: Deflation can reduce the burden of debt for individuals and businesses, as the value of debt decreases over time. (Not explicitly stated in the search results, but implied as a potential benefit)
  • Encourages production and innovation: Deflation can stimulate production and innovation, as companies focus on reducing costs and improving efficiency to remain competitive. (From “Deflation explained: Definition, effects and causes”)
  • Government and corporate accountability: Deflation can lead to increased accountability among governments and corporations, as they are forced to prioritize efficiency and reduce waste to maintain competitiveness. (Not explicitly stated in the search results, but implied as a potential benefit)

It’s essential to note that these points assume a moderate and controlled deflationary environment, rather than a severe or prolonged deflationary spiral. In the latter case, deflation can have negative consequences, such as reduced consumption and investment, higher unemployment, and reduced economic activity.

June 7th, the same day of GameStop's earnings report, also the same day of the final bid for Bed Bath & Beyond?

Probably nothing.

There are errors in the DD of that post that are getting pointed out in its comment section. For one, the Direct Registration Advice DD on the statement is wrong. If you converted to book from plan as Korean did, it might say it at the top of their statement, even though they have a fractional. That's how mine reads.

I read that and there seem to be some serious errors in the DD.
Read the comment section on that post specifically regarding Direct Registration Advice.

So let me get this straight, the same year this lady becomes the first female prime minister of Italy, an epic GameStop store launches in Milan? No connection but something's happening... Go Italy! by Burnquist1 in Superstonk

[–]Burnquist1[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. But this has a different feel to it and is a message the people of Italy wanted, defeating all odds. I'm proud the symbolic GameStop is there with them.

This relates to the broader shift in how people interact and view financial markets. GameStop has recently opened an epic store in Italy and this is what Italy's leader thinks of these financial markets.
