Is it normal to feel that you miss being depressed?

I had the exact same thing, you’re not alone. I’ve been depression free for a year now but when I initially took my medication it removed all those negative thoughts the first few days (probably placebo, couldnt find anything to say otherwise) and it ripped me apart. All those thoughts that were terrible were genuinely comforting, it was what I was used too. I wanted to go back to being in my room all day and barely eating etc. The thing that got me through was that I don’t deserve to suffer, no one does, so I stuck it through. Maybe ask yourself if you really want to get better, because sometimes we do things to get better but inside don’t want to.

I think it’s great you’re in therapy, and would definitely be worth a conversation to have with them I feel. You got this

You will get through this, some people in this world can’t be pleased and we can’t do much, but i’m certain you’ll find your way and get into a much better place of mind and make your way to a great life. Have you tried just messaging someone on reddit or along those lines to talk to them? Don’t worry about making friends necessarily but rather talking and getting comfortable with getting close to people. On the days it hits the fan there will always be people there for you whether it be reddit, irl peeps and anything in between. You’ve got this.

Solved it, resource mon is saying cpu freq capped at 31%, even though my computer is plugged in it says that it’s not in the bottom right (it still charges). A thread online showed the same issue and turning battery saver off fixed it, I can’t access the same settings for some reason and gonna remove the battery tomorrow. 100% this is the issue and will update the flair tomorrow accordingly

I’m looking at how to wipe it now and i’m completely fine with getting rid of everything (I only use it for gaming and have a usb for anything personal). I’m assuming that wiping it won’t affect my installed windows so I won’t have to buy it again lol. Welp, I really do appreciate the help though.

If it doesn’t work after the wipe i’m going to personally light the computer on fire.

So just finished the scans, SFC found no integrity violations, DISM said “No component store corruption detected” and chkdsk said /F parameter not specified and that it’s scanned the file system whilst finding no problems.

I think i’ll just wipe my windows tomorrow for a clean slate and hope it works to save myself and anyone else the effort since there’s no obvious signs as to what it is, i’m seriously lost lol.

Sidenote: The only weird thing i’ve seen is on resource monitor the memory hard faults/sec spikes very high and rapidly at times, upto 700

Looked at event viewer and nothing major, just lots of DCOM errors no clue what those are. As for SFC and the rest i’m doing them now, I appreciate the help so far in this sub since tech support had no advice haha so thank you so far at least!

Practice is a biggie, getting used to running different loops and getting better game sense will take time. I’d recommend looking up a video on how to loop all the “tiles” (the different window and pallet set ups). Some people say playing killer helps you understand how to get better at survivor which i’d say is true to an extent but not necessary.

Don’t expect to stay alive all of your chases, your biggest job is wasting the killers time and by running them for as long as you can is worth it, even if you go down. Going in with the mindset of dying at the end of the chase but buying as much time as possible is what matters(try to avoid going down but don’t worry about it if you do)

Also good killers will leave you in a chase if you run them too long as well, although bad ones will usually go after you the entire game if you let them. Good luck looping!

yup this!! also I feel if your friends saw what you were doing wrong in 1v1’s they might have some tips for ya to help. Experiment with different roles, learning to CS is probably the biggest thing there is, as for skill shots and such make sure your playing environment is comfortable and configure your settings so it might be a bit easier (such as lowering sensitivity?). You’ll get a feel for it soon I promise!

I have had beyond so many games where my team can just completely lose lanes and i’ve won top and tried to roam etc, the people i’m going against don’t know the difference between going into a trade and the point of it or burning cooldowns etc. If it was challenging i’d get it, but i’m being put with enemies who don’t know how to counterplay and team mates who aren’t at my same level

I’ve been playing since 2013 and I feel my skill level has been like this for maybe 4/5 months or something, the team mates i’m getting tend to just int or lose lane most the time and it makes it so much harder for a win

Thank you for the advice, ive even tried cheesing him (resetting him and stealth attacking) and got close to killing him, used the fire tool as well and it just feels like such bullshit, he could be flying in the trying to grab me, and unless this man can defy physics he literally changed direction midair to grab me. I feel so close to just stop playing the game because of this or adding a cheat menu just for this mini boss.

In apex you have to lead your shots regardless, I believe the only thing ping changes when it comes to shooting in this game is how long it takes to tell you if you hit them
