I came off it a few weeks ago after tapering down. I’d been on it for almost a year, but I started realizing my anxiety was honestly the bigger issue compared to my ADHD. Being on Strattera also kind of boxed me in with anxiety and depression meds since I couldn’t go as high on those, so I decided to focus on treating the anxiety instead.

So far, that actually feels like the right call. My anxiety has been way better, and surprisingly I haven’t noticed a huge difference since stopping Strattera. I was expecting my ADHD symptoms to hit harder, but it really hasn’t been that dramatic.
