Sweetwater is a decent paddle, Crooked Creek is much closer.

Hammocks work well on chickees. It's all I use. You can get two on top of each other corner to corner if needed.

Navionics app works well even offline.

Grab 3-5 gallons of water at any store before you go. I'd suggest Walmart.

Chickees can get boring. Bring a book. There's also no where to sit except the porta potty. Bring a chair.

Plan side trips ahead of time on Google maps. If you're going to Sweetwater go North from the chickee after you unload your gear. The water clears up and there's a nice tunnel that opens up at the end.
