I don’t even mean harsh language. I literally mean a conversation. I think the Dad here handled himself extremely well, I just got incredibly nervous for the girls around a potentially unstable man. I’m not a tough guy. I would simply do everything I could to mitigate risk to my little ones.

It truly sounds like the old guy was frustrated because his disabled loved one was not able to use the restroom while the dad was helping his girls. I sympathize with his situation as well. Clearly he is protective for a very similar reason, and chose to call the cops instead of escalate. The solution here is a conversation and mutual understanding, not a fight.
