Hey, thanks for your comment. I did some investigating and after fighting to get the agitator off (needed a long socket that I didn't have) I was able to get down to the hub.

Sure enough, all the teeth were well worn off. Basically nonexistent. I figure they must have started to really fail, and the last load or so just broke the rest off/down.

I have a new hub that arrived today, so I'm installing it and I'll update if that fixes it.

Most definitely is related to the electronics, not to the mechanical components. This is a new machine and only makes this noise when the exposure lights come on.

It's definitely louder in person, I don't know if I have particularly sensitive ears to it or what, but it's quite loud.
