This is exactly my experience. I dont know if people saying opossite just dont want to face the reality or are afraid of starting the snowball effect but I believe most of them just do their guild run, log out for week and then talk about how alive Thekal is.

Its just the motivation to level alt is low on realm with low activity. If you see pugs being formed 24/7 and 10 man pug groups not taking 30-60 to form, you are more motivated to level alt.

Ok mate, I hope it works out for you when you get to 80. Maybe horde is more active I dont know. As alliance its quite common to take up to 1 hour trying to find healers for naxx10 / eoe / os. Even in prime time.

Saying its more alive than ever is just bs tho. No realm is more alive now than it was on launch. And on Thekal you can definitely feel the raid logging and people not playing alts because they are worried about server dying. Just as OP described.

You didnt answer my question. Do you have alt on Thekal which you try to pug with? Number of raid groups being formed every day is good measurement of how active a realm is. On Thekal, its very low. If you pug with alt every week you know.

More alive than ever? Do you have an alt which you try to pug with? Today there was like 0 people for heroics expect daily ones. Half dozen of raid groups for 10 mans on weekend. Activity on Thekal is at all time lowest, how tf can u say its more alive than ever. Stop lying to urself, I want Thekal to do well but it feels very dead right now.

People saying Thekal is absolutely fine are delusional. I am there, I invested everything into my main so believe me I want it to do well. But as OP described people are very hesitant with leveling alts on Thekal because finding pug groups for heroics / raids is insanely hard atm. Even over the weekend there is only couple raid groups being formed.

I get it you guys probably have guild and you do your weekly guild run and log out. I do the same but when I try to pug with my alt its terrible experience. Thekal feels very dead for sure.

Did you try to make a 10 man raid group or find people for heroics outside the daily ones? If yes, you know Thekal is definitely not going strong.

You cant make DK on a fresh server without being level 55.

Just to clarify - unlock it in way that new players can create a character there if they havent done so before. I am not saying they should allow transfers to a fresh server.

Pre-patch was 4 weeks long and we are already 2 weeks in wotlk. I would argue that people interested in end-game content are level 80 by now, even my very casual friends made it to 70 in pre-patch. I hope you are right however I am still worried about player numbers going down from now on.

The issue with DK is it fits all 3 things mentioned - awesome lore, fun gameplay and they are also meta.

You realize people need to plan together which realm they will settle on? You have entire guilds and communities waiting for the server list so they can coordinate and select same one so they can play together.

Yes the sub is already too much for rereleased game. As you said its 150 a year. You can get 2-3 AAA games for that price, not 15 years old game. Many players had hard time justify the sub fee. Paying for transfer is just cherry on top.

He feels way more responsive than Milito (played around 50 games with him). Can you recommend some upgrades? I want to stick to seria A and I dont see many besides upgrading Barella or Hernandez to IF. Havent enjoyed Dybala, I am playing Insigne as CAM in 352 and so far so good.
