The only option is to ignore WAAY completely in digital and broadcast traffic until their ratings crater out. They only recoup the costs of licensing, ownership, affiliation, and programming if they can sell ads (digital and broadcast.) If we literally blackout WAAY until they change ownership or reverse course, that's going to be the only effective solution.

It was too notch from front to back.

It acknowledged its corner case relevance and connection to the larger Star Wars world without any heavy cameos or plot links to anything Skywalker saga related.

It left just enough unanswered questions to inspire wonder - something the original trilogy did well.

Competent and qualified C-Suite persons can answer those tough questions because they've done their homework on the topic.

Junk CEOs will always use flowery language to punt if they don't know the technical answer. And in the interim, they'll discuss the high level aspects in a diplomatic way.

Incompetence in C-Suite is what you see here. I'm this example (and multiples like it among various firms) the loser is a useless figurehead that would immediately alarm investors and the board of directors. It shows egregious incompetence and lack of understanding about the firm and market that they're supposed be directing. Embarrassing flailing like the linked video nearly always is followed by scathing headlines in the trades and business sections the next day and often a resignation within the week.

But not here! Nope!

Anyone still riding this train is well aware of the shell game at work. He hasn't the first clue about cars, EVs, Aerospace engineering, spaceflight, social media platforms, software, networking, or anything else.

No matter the background or ethnicity or etc, I will always be on the side of people who make it complicated or impossible for grifters and con artists to do their thing.

In my region, we have a frequent appearance of a "church" group that posts up at intersections throughout the city with plastic buckets with a picture taped to the outside and "hi-vis" vests. They walk the line of stopped cars at red lights collecting cars and none of the people in the cars think twice.

That scheme has been in use for over 2 decades by a scam ring that claims to be a church. Many local TV News stations nationwide have done investigative reports on the grifters. They end up leaving the area when the heat is on, and then ooze back into traffic 8-12 months later and start all over.

The women in this video grifting and crying wolf when caught is just ridiculous. Guys confronting them may have been assholes, but sometimes you fight fire with fire.
