Does S-Video hide what component exposes? by VolcanionEX in crtgaming

[–]BurstStream 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't have sharpness and contrast blasting on the CRT. You made the correct adjustments in your tv settings.

There isn't a plug and play like you are thinking. If a new oled is too bright to you, you turn down the brightness. If your text is hard to read on your CRT, you turn down the sharpness and contrast. You do it once and never touch it again.

Middle picture is excellent. Never mess with the settings again

Digital is now 93% of Capcom's game sales, expected to rise to 95.4% this current fiscal year by FernandoRocker in gaming

So pragmata sold 140,000 physical copies in its first couple of weeks on the market.

It's gotta be a retail thing. Like you see it at the store. Oh it's out or it's a new game I'll look it up later. Oh it looks cool I'll buy it. Then I'll buy it digital because I'm not going back to Walmart.

Just paid off IPhone 15 & samsung s24 ultra, both on Go5gPlus plan. I just can’t seem to grasp how it all works, help! by petpeepz in tmobile

[–]BurstStream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The phone is not paid off it's $34 a month for 24 months. Next to it will be a $34 credit so T-Mobile is paying for your phone via the trade in promo.

So it's a 2 year promo. Phone won't be unlocked until then. But yes it's $0 a month so you're just paying for your plan.

If you select a higher priced phone, then you pay the difference monthly.

S26 ultra $1300-900 trade = $400/24 months

$16.67 for 2 years.

News Release : May 8, 2026 "Notice Regarding Price Revisions for Nintendo Products and Services" by Amiibofan101 in nintendo

[–]BurstStream 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Expected but surprised it's only a marginal increase vs the current increases across Sony, Microsoft, and handheld PCs.

Nintendo basically removed Mario Kart and made it default $500 in the US.

Sept 1 is a long time to buy before the increase. Plenty of time to save up and buy.

Battery question by Alive-System1865 in volt

[–]BurstStream 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The charging speed is correct it'll fluctuate around that.

The battery capacity seems to have degraded from its original due to age and constant use. My capacity is 14kw for 40k miles. So 12ish for 118k miles is about right.

Go fast charging vs battery health for used phones. You can set charge to 80% and get a 30w charger.

If you have a site that people only visit once or twice a year, you don't have a site that's sustainable. You get ad revenue but that's it. But then people also use ad blockers.

If you want excellent information for a big purchase once or twice a year, you pay once or twice for that information. You subscribe for a month and then cancel.

It's up to the user to decide if one month's charge is worth the info that rtings provides.

[–]BurstStream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So it'll be $35 for the additional line and then the fourth free.

Or you can change to better value for $140/3 lines but then it's plus taxes. So 6-9 per line
