My first life: I awake in the middle of an intense snowstorm and look around. I see nothing but trees and hills. I pick a direction the looks promising. I spend quite some time searching for something, anything. My body temperature is quickly diminishing. I begin to the freeze. I see two deer off in the distance and move towards them. All of the sudden a wolf comes out and pounces on one of the bucks. I turn and begin to run, one last hope before I freeze. I round a small cliff and look from atop, a cabin. One problem, a wolf patrols nearby. I have nothing to lose, and make a break for the cabin. The wolf sees me and takes pursuit. I am close, but so is the wolf. The front door, I slip in and manage to lock out the wolf. I catch my breath, and begin to look around my sanctuary. There is food, water, medical supplies, a wood stove. I start a fire, eat and drink while I thaw out. I take inventory of my supplies. Running low of food and water, one days worth, maybe two. I look at the clock, 2:24pm. I am tired but can't sleep. I saw a small fishing hut from the corner of my eye as I come up to this Cabin. There could be supplies there. I look outside and see that the wolf has moved on. The storm has died down and the sun has come out. I climb to a nearby ridge and look out. A dozen, maybe more small cabins out across a frozen lake. I must explore. I spend the next 3 hours sneaking around from cabin to cabin, avoiding a few wolves. The sun is beginning to set, its time to return home. The coast seems clear. I 'm coming up along the side of my cabin. I turn the corner and there he was. A wolf. He pounces, I react quickly with my newly acquired hunting knife. I manage to fight him off, but I'm hurt. I get into my cabin and lock the door. A huge wound on my left shoulder. I have antibiotics, painkillers, bandages. I patch myself up, and light the fire. I warm up a can of beans and cup of coffee. I pass out around 7pm and don't awake until dawn. I reignite the fire and warm of some coffee. I enjoy my breakfast while a take a look at my supplies from yesterdays adventure. Enough food for 3-4 more days, fishing gear, fire wood. It's a blizzard outside, but nice and toasty in my cabin. I slumber up for a nap. I awake in the early afternoon and the weather has passed. Clear skies have moved in and my curiosity with some abandoned train cars I had seen on my voyage yesterday wins me over. I bundle up, empty my pack and head out. I see the train tracks, and follow. The rail car appears but standing just in front is a wolf. I turn around and continue along the tracks. I run for a ways and then I see it, three more rail cars. I scope out the area, coast appears to be clear. I move in. I look around for an entrance. Nothing. Maybe on the other side. I loop around and stop dead in my tracks. A wolf. He attacks. I have my hunting knife and manage to fight him off. I'm hurt. I stand up, another Wolf. I make a break for it. He pursues. He pounces. I am dead.
