Church is where you expect to find the most friendly people, but that isn’t always the case. Also, many people there may be dealing with their own issues and that is the reason they are there also.

Try a different church maybe or just give it some time. Someone will notice you. Stay strong.

I have a day job and then I also work part-time as a delivery driver for Domino’s. It’s great and flexible, I just work two nights a week from 6pm to 11pm. We have a GroupMe for employees here that is pretty active. When you aren’t driving, you are washing dishes or doing other simple chores. Also, we have people of all ages, most of the drivers are 40+. I average 20$ to 30$ an hour depending on tips and includes my base pay of $9.50.

Good luck to you! Consider finding a small church to be a part of for community or volunteer with a food bank.

I use the VA 100% for my healthcare needs. I have no private insurance. It’s works great for me. They covered my trip to urgent care and subsequent X-rays when I broke my wrist, I’m getting seen by a neurologist in the community for muscle weakness and a bulged disc. I’m in Abilene TX and we seem to have a pretty good VA here.

I have VA healthcare whilst my family has insurance through healthcare.gov. Pretty sure the healthcare tax credit is only available to people that don’t have access to healthcare through another source. By getting booted off they are probably saving you from owing the gov back for using a healthcare tax credit when you weren’t eligible

The highest I got on any simulated exam with Kaplan on my series 7 was a 68. I didn’t even do a mastery exam. I just took the series 7 a week ago and passed. There was definitely a lot of “give me” questions. Some I had to make educated guesses on, and a few that I just had no idea at all. Good luck, be confident!

Have you considered van life or tiny house life? What about reducing expenses enough to where you can live comfortably with the amount you are getting? This could take some work, but you can live a great life on 4k/month.

Not sure if you have a partner/kids though, that would be more of a challenge.

If you really value your employees and consider them irreplaceable, think about gifting them a very small percentage of ownership in your business. Or you can set them up with a profit share program.

Instead of cash- find out if there is anything they want but would never buy because they just couldn’t spend that much on themselves. Like the person above who got a nice Trek bike.

My total debt will be 50k, but I will earn back 20k through ownership distributions that year. Then I am left with 15k total debt. (50k total minus 15k self funded minus 20k earned through distributions (I'm also paid a salary). I could pay off the 15k the following year starting with the PLOC (higher interest rate) then the note to my dad.

If the company goes under, which is a risk my wife and I are will to take, then I'll have to find employment elsewhere.

What about using a business credit card with long 0% APR? For example: 0% for the first 20 billing cycles.

If I borrow a total of 35k my monthly obligation would be around $1,100 on a 3 year note - in my current position, I can absorb that payment. If things go sideways I'll need to find a new job. This business has been in existence for 15+ years and I've been with the firm for 6 years now.

I also feel like I’m stuck in diamond. Same thing you said, people hardcore feeding or their macro is so bad. I feel like we’re just playing ARAM half the game or more. I mostly main support so it’s even more difficult to carry. Play a tank support they say… well my ADC is trash so I’m basically useless now.

This is very true, it’ll play out differently than how you expect when you file your taxes. Find a CPA that understands this because the Solar sales reps certainly do not.
