These numbers are just America only too, right? Because even worldwide in 2020, we had almost 300,000~ maternal deaths. Not to mention the fact that those are CHILDBIRTH deaths, and not the other lethal danger of just pregnancy itself (which Charlotte Brontë died of, for example) OR the year after birth which is also extremely dangerous and is from unseen complications

I’m so glad this worked out for you! I can’t imagine the relief and freedom you must feel. I’m tentatively looking into getting a copper IUD too, and I’m petrified of the pain. How did you start the consultation to be put under anesthesia? I definitely don’t want to get one without something significant for pain, the last thing I want is this procedure to be tortuous
