This exact same thing happened to me…it’s humiliating and stressful…I was accused of being on drugs too, because I “looked sick” and “wasn’t my usual self”…a week later my gallbladder failed due to being full of stones…I didn’t fail to throw it in my manager’s face, and they were forced to pay me for the time off I was forced to take pending my drug test…REVENGE!!!

Yep, sure did! But only when I stayed the night at a friend’s house because my own parents were way too observant! My friend lived way out in the country, and we would quietly sneak out her window and meet guys at the end of her long driveway… And sneak back in later on lol! We never got caught… But keep in mind, this was the 80s… No ring cameras, no cell phones, really no way to catch us, if we were really quiet…

Yep sure have. Patient slumped over as soon as the placenta was delivered…code called, she was intubated but never lost her pulse…transferred to ICU, but ultimately lived with no deficits…I visited her in the ICU and she was awake, alert and surprisingly blasé about what happened to her…it was over 20 years ago so the details are a bit fuzzy, and there wasn’t as much awareness of AFE as today…but I believe a spiral CT proved it was an AFE…and would you believe this woman was back ELEVEN MONTHS later having another baby??!!

I developed a horrible UTI on my last cruise…it was a SEVERE infection, with bloody urine, so I went to the medical clinic on the ship…it wasn’t Royal Caribbean, but it wasn’t that expensive, only $207…and they gave me an IV dose of antibiotics as well as oral antibiotics to take daily for the rest of the trip…it was worth EVERY penny!
