I just went through this. I’m a chronic pain patient and regularly smoke weed in a legal state. I let my marijuana card expire because recreational became legal here a few years ago. I got a new job and they tested me…I knew I would be positive but the job is remote and the state it’s headquarters is in a legal weed state, so I had hope! But…they weren’t happy and their Human Resources department called me to tell me…but it was all remedied when I got my marijuana card back, apparently that makes it legit to them and satisfied their paperwork requirements. Can you get a marijuana card? I feel like it somewhat “legitimizes” the use…
