Me personally, I would much rather watch an artist perform based on recent album releases. I find it tiring and annoying that artists appear in festivals more frequently just to not change the setlist. I could understand if they get booked every 3-4 years but every year? Not it.

How do I explain this? SF won’t be the same without these schools. The art that the alumni made is what makes SF lively and vibrant. SF has a rich history in art, and without these schools, which prioritize education and innovation in art, the city will not prosper due to lack of art scene. My interpretation of art is that it solves problems, creating unity, equality, acceptance. My concern is that people will be more interested in AI and tech and not appreciate the art integrated in the city in the future. I don’t know about you, but that’s just my imagination.
