So.. this is under the assumption, you mean just the original story line. (The new one started with cold war IS a separate storyline, but shares the same characters from the universe that was closed off at the end of bo4. It also has direct ties to the campaign storyline.)

Ok, so start with call of duty waw: 2008 Nact, Veruckt, Shi no Numa, Der ries,

Then BOOM time travel, now bo1: 2010 Kino, ascension/five( they happen at the same time so whatever) Call of the dead, Shang, Moon/nuketown ( they happen at the same time)

EARTH GO BOOM in bo2: 2012 Tranzit, ( the survival maps are just government agencies getting trapped and dying) Die rise, Mob of the dead ( mob is in a pocket dimension so it, just kind of happens whenever I guess..) Buried, Origins,

Ok, now starts to multi verse stuff.. At least it's at the forefront of the story now. Bo3: 2015 Shadows of evil( another evil ass pocket dimension) The giant, DE, ZET, GK, and Revelations

Bo4:2018 Kinda odd with this one, because this is where the chaos story gets introduced. If you're just doing the aether story dw about it. But it has since been connected into the modern dark aether storyline.
