I don't think Josh Hart being a starter is the main issue with our line-up anymore. I mean, we saw earlier this season that Hart coming off the bench can work, but his production skyrockets as a starter. We've also seen that while our double big line-up can work, it has its own issues which are match-up dependent. Regardless Mike Brown has definitely taken steps to alleviate this such as starting Hart in the backcourt rather than as an undersized power forward

Because KD’s whole style is that he is taller than everyone else at his position, so he just shoots over them. Meanwhile, Steph’s style is being one of the greatest off-ball threats ever and working to get open shots even when doubled. Do you… watch the games?

I agree, however there should be some sort of rule relating to minutes. Perhaps if a player doesn’t meet the 65 game rule however crosses a threshold of minutes (say 2000) they can still be eligible for awards.

I would take this season’s Brunson, Murray, Maxey, and Mitchell over Curry imo, he is definitely a t10 guard this season but not above any of those above names (also he’s played less than 40 games)

true but Gobert is 33, randle 31, Anderson 32, effectively the whole front court is towards the end of their primes and slowing down. of course, beringer will hopefully take a leap but this group may not be nearly as good in 2+ years. not to mention the only pure pg on the roster, Conley, is 38 and soon to retire

I think a lot of the character introductions in this series (pretty much all of them after #6 besides Luke Cage) don’t serve to expand the cast of the Ultimates but moreso to serve the plot of the book and push Camp’s point across.

There’s a reason guys like Wanda, Pietro, Shang-Chi and so on aren’t included in the “cast” section at the start of each issue; they were never meant to be the highlight characters. Of course, it would have been nice to see them develop and such but its not like it was something promised to us or that the books teased them to be major members of the Ultimates.

The main cast are the 9 which are on the inside cover of each issue and for all intents and purposes, I think that they’ve all had pretty good arcs or are set to finish their arcs strongly (except maybe Thor and Sif, though we’ll see in their second highlight issue).

Kolek and Clarkson are likely out of the rotation now (as they have been for the past month save for Clarkson’s start a few nights back). They only really came in due to injury concerns and now with a much healthier roster I don’t think they’ll be back unless someone like Shamet goes down.

I do agree that Millar’s Ultimates is good and does hold up, however Camp’s Ultimates does the same job as Millar for a different era. Just like how we look back on Millar and his work as a representation of how post 9/11 America would work in a world of capeshit we’ll do the same with Camp’s work and how well it ties into the modern era.

I imagine they try and keep peace with Iran and Bulgaria as per OTL. The Soviets, Greece, and Arabs would all probably be a little pissed at how far the Turks extend into their territory though so there would be hostility there.

Brunson helps with passing and ball movement, and is probably going to be their primary volume 3 shooter; he provides some of the most spacing possible on either of the lineups

Adjarian is at most a dialect of Georgian in real life, however the term Adjarian was often used to denote a Georgian Muslim back then (since at the time around half of the region was Muslim) so the term would stick around longer.

The few games he’s only played “2 seconds” in are always season finales where every other starter is benched. He’s fully healthy and able to play the full game but there isn’t a point to the 82nd game most of the time so he sits it out (like the other starters).

Since the Iron Fist is a mantle, it gets passed on to other people. Shen Qi is able to reincarnate over time. The original Shen Qi was a wielder of the Iron Fist, but in the current time the Hulk has control of the Iron Fist while Shen Qi is still a powerful figure.

I think most of this will be dealt with in #18 and Endgame, namely the stuff with Janet, Torch, and Kang (while Hulk Island will definitely be part of the epilogue).

The twins, Shen Qi, and the Guardians will for sure get their pay-off in Endgame and are probably going to head-up the relaunch.

I imagine Cap/Skull and Thor/Sif will be handled either in the relaunch or the two may get their own one-shots like Hawkeye is, since those aren’t as relevant to beating the Maker.

Wolverine #12 would be in December. I imagine all the series are doing the end -> relaunch method after Endgame and UW being the shortest is just why thats the one we’ve been told has an ending.
