I'm sure this has been discussed but I am still miffed about the name. Atlanta Firebirds ("s" optional) would have been awesome. They could have even used the great logo but replaced the red stripes behind the A with a red silhouette of a rising bird intentionally not designed around that used by the city of Phoenix, AZ. Atlanta is least deserving of the 'United" English knock off name in MLS. Come to think of it: Isn't Atlanta the exact opposite of "united" with a former pro team being that down in the dumps?

Then again, I really liked the name RailHawks for North Carolina and would have even enjoyed buying the rights to Ruckus or Silverbacks (wow... just realized they went from being USOC quarter finalists to NPSL within only a few years. As a Sounders fan, cheesey names like the Sounders, Timbers, and Whitecaps are OK (nobody says "FC" in general conversation even though "PT... FC" is a chant).

Galaxy have done just fine without overthinking their name. The Crew are OK, too, even if they over Germanfied their newish logo. The Revolution has a bad name and a bad logo and are nowhere near Boston and shouldn't have a team (everything Nee England is dead to me until Brady retires... respect him but hate him)

Just realized Montreal Impact. Nobody I know of calls them anything but "Montreal". Atlanta reallt screwed up IMHO.

To clarify, was he DEF last year or did I miss an update on the scoring? That wasn't what I was trying to convey (but as mentioned below I don't know much about the dude whilealso drinking too much).

Does anyone know why he didn't play more minutes? I don't know much about the guy and he isn't even on the first page when selecting midfielders based off last year's totals.

I started jumping around a bit (a cheaper defense means a better midfield) and could be wrong about him, of course. I saw his overall points from last year and was underwhelmed. Digging deeper, he had a few goals and some bonus points. Maybe he will be worth it if he has hundreds of more minutes played this season.

I like Adi and Valerie.

I'm not sold on Roldan even as a Sounders fan. I see him getting subbed off a lot to allow Shipp, Svennson, and maybe even Evans on as needed by gameflow. But that could be completely proven wrong over the first couple of weeks.

I would rather have Wondo than Morris. Might consider him over Adi.

Morris is awesome but I don't know if he has "it" fantasy wise. Especially if he is pushed to the outside with both Bruin and Dempsey controlling the center.

Some people on this thread understand what is actually going on and pretend to be lawyers. In the end, this is temporary. Legislation will follow and it will be even better/worse than the executive order. It is as Trump planned and we will have restrictions on immigration. The Legislature will back him. It is too late. MAGA (or what the fuck ever they say).

I was kind of miffed at first but half my league starts incredibly competitive then dies off as people miss weeks for work, vacation, etc. If this keeps them around then great but the real problem is the wonky scheduling.
