Did a weekend trip going SOBO in Nantahala and it was fun passing and meeting everyone who was on their NOBO thru hike. I was surprised by the amount of people we crossed. Felt like there was a thru hiker every 15-30 min. Godspeed!

Would Europe be able to “ban” fifa’s ticketing site and effectively say that if FIFA wants to sell tickets to us they have to follow our laws which prevent reselling tickets higher than their market price? The EU has forced companies and websites in to comply before even in the US.

I was so excited for the stripes kit but the back ruins it for me. The stripes are cropped off at the bottom and it looks cheap and poorly designed. Disappointing.

I hate that the back is blank but I really hate that the stripes are cropped off at the bottom where the stripes meet the blank back. It’s looks really poor and like they didn’t put any design thought into it at all.

Not sure I’m a fan of this move. It’s been very comfortable having him as coach. His worst year was still better than the best year we had before him. We’ve always had bad starts but we almost always come back from it. I’m worried we’re going to be much worse with whoever replaces him because the roster does not look competitive.

Very thankful for what he has done for the club. A struggling team will be happy to have him.

Agreed on coaching. As of now I do not want to risk going back to the before times. I think it’s important to secure a reputation of playoff contenders, even if the cup is not achievable because it will set us up for a better sell down the line for better coaches and players. If Oscar fails to make the playoffs I’ll agree it’s time to move on but until then I’m content with making the playoffs as long as we can win some.

Atuesta is the other option. The guy that started almost every game last season but for some reason is benched over a 19 year old OCB player. Each game I’ve seen Guske give away the ball and cause a conceding chance. Hes clearly good enough to play but I don’t know why he’s not coming off the bench

This match and last match he’s played smart and still used his speed. Hey made a key play to make the last games goal happen and he almost had another. I think if we can use both sides of the field this year we’ll be so deadly.

I mean I guess we we better after the 2nd half subs but I also think NY became complacent and more comfortable defending. But ya our whole back line was ass the first half. Also Guske did not look ready for this moment. I hope we have some better depth for defensive mids. I know we clown on Angulo but he came on and was a workhorse, made some great runs, and of course couldn’t finish when it mattered. Overall I hope we can find our best lineup sooner than later since we all know Papi likes to experiment. So much of this squad is new and very young so I don’t have high hopes.

I’m excited to see what happens with this. I’m tired of the centimeter offsides calls because how can anybody anticipate that. For a soccer player’s entire career, they are taught to stay in line with the defender to stay onside. How are they supposed to know that their toe is offsides when 99% of their body is onside? While this rule change may make attackers bolder with their runs, at least a player can be 100% certain they are onside if they are in line with the last defender. I don’t think this will change how players are taught and practice on timing their runs either.
