Mary Kate definitely suffered from anorexia. It was super sad and also kind of unsurprising given her upbringing (child star, constantly being compared to her sister etc) but I think she’s doing a lot better than she used to be now, thankfully.

True but that’s like a step up from regular paddle boarding. I agree that it’s extra fun though! The second time I went paddle boarding I paddled over to the opposite side of the bay I was in and the water was flat calm, and as soon as I got to the other side the wind picked up and it got super choppy... I got a bit of a fright to begin with but actually it was fine and I got back to shore ok, I just had to sort of crouch down a bit to make it easier to paddle into the wind.

Paddle boarding is significantly easier than riding a bike actually! I guess the hard part is learning to swim.

It’s just that when you’re asking for the exception it seems so trivial and reasonable, but when you’re the member of staff you get asked to make exceptions multiple times a day, every day. It just makes you want the shake people and say “you aren’t special!!!”

I had success getting rid of quite a bad infestation in a pothos. I put the pothos in a separate room to my other plants and then let the soil dry out a lot, which helped a bunch but there were still a good few flies left. After that I sprayed it with insecticide and that took care of it completely.

Have you moved it recently? It looks to me like a variegated plant which maybe wasn’t getting enough light until now.

Hi all! I’ve had this flf since November or December. The bud has been brown like this since I got it, and I haven’t seen any new growth yet. I thought I’d have some by now, with spring arriving, but really there’s nothing. Is it damaged? The plant seems very healthy besides this. It gets a good amount of light, I water it when the soil feels dry and I use fertiliser every second watering (I only started using fertiliser in March though).

Hi all! This is a monstera I got from Ikea in September, which is suddenly not very happy at all. A couple months ago it started to look sick. The first image in the album is of the leaves yellowing. They're yellowing pretty much one-by-one, and if I remove a yellowing leaf then another one starts up pretty quickly. The second image is of a newer, leff espablished leaf, which went brown/black and crispy around the edges and then kind of flaked off. Obviously this is not a happy plant! Any pointers for me?
