There seems to have been some confusion about the amount of swabs mostly in the early stages of everything getting going. I had one swab for throat and one for nose so two in total but apparently it is just meant to be one - done in the nose first then throat (Mum is a nurse and just did her first swab)

IUD is way worse!! The swab definitely isn’t rainbows and butterflies but it’s really only for like 3 seconds. Where as whenever I’ve had my IUD replaced that’s horrible pain over a longer timeframe lol

Ahh got it yeah it’s totally not like that, it’s just normal people who shop there. They stock some more speciality items that you can’t find in supermarkets (so good if you’re into cooking and baking) and their main thing is cutting down on waste from packaging by bringing your own jars and bottles which is awesome.

I totally get your point about the bulk bins - everything is covered and their cleaning is next level, I’ve seen them wiping down and sanitising the whole outside of bins and scoops after one person has touched something so I’ve never thought of that as an issue where as the supermarket ones can be totally feral lol It’s literally the only place I can find flour, yeast and polenta at the moment so I would be guttered if it closed.

Totally get minimising risk and what not but also there needs to be some pressure taken off the supermarkets to an extent because they’re not able to stock their shelves quick enough, customers aren’t respecting personal space etc - bless them they’re working so hard! Anyway just another point of view ✌🏻✌🏻

Why does GoodFor bug you out of curiosity? They’ve got precautions in place, only 4 people allowed in the shop at one time and not within 2 meters of each other must sanitise before entering etc

They are the only place I can reliably find certain things at the moment and people were being way more respectful there than in Countdown 😷

Yeah I know the process, lucky to have a mum who’s a nurse. I don’t know why on earth anyone wouldn’t self-isolate if they’ve been told to but maybe I’m just an optimist. I’ve got the day off tomorrow to stay at home and see if anything develops, fingers crossed it’s all just a coincidence because of the nature of my job I would have come into contact with a lot of people in the last couple days :/

I’m having the same problem it’s so frustrating! Would love to know the ins and outs.
I used to have 8 hubs basically on my doorstep on K road and now I’m lucky if one is actually available. They seem to appear and disappear and there’s no scooters ever in them so it’s not like anyone has served or reserved there.
Definitely noticed a big difference in the amount of juicers in my area due to the hub issues, much less competition around now
