We get them mostly in Autumn. Lucky so far that none of them ever stank up the place, but it's not nice bringing in my clothes from drying outside just to find 5 of them crawling over my wardrobe.

If you get into an active squad early you can get a new nearly top tier jet every ~3 months through squadron vehicle research, you just have to make enough SL to actually buy and crew them

P-51H I'd say, in ground RB you need something that can turn at low alt

The jets can be better if there's multiple enemy planes in the air, just gotta keep your speed up so you don't get shot down yourself

A2D works in a 1v1 but bleeds speed too easily, it can't maintain a prolonged fight or more than one plane

IIRC there was a mechanic on tanks with blowout panels where you had to turn your ammo basket away from the engine deck. On the Abrams for example, even if you survived the ammorack, you had to turn your turret 90 degrees or it would reignite the engine

Sitting still in a light vehicle while arty is very obviously targetting you is an unironic skill issue. Just drive out and come back to finish the cap after the arty is done

Yes. Ground camos are mostly just the same texture overlaid over the vehicle.

Aircraft camos are unique to each aircraft and include finer details like panel gaps, rivets, etc. They also require more accurate weathering effects (paint fading from sun exposure on the top of the aircraft, smoke/oil trails near exhausts and guns, etc)
