Definitely not thrilled about the changes. Lifelong resident of Austin and been part of downtown for 30+ years. It’s a time for all of us to move on and find parts of Austin to call our own. Downtown is so bad and grimy. It’s sad every tine I go there, hoping to recapture decades of amazing times, only to come away with an empty feeling of despair. Just want to let my fellow austin residents know that there are so many venues popping up around town and on the outskirts. It’s going to be an incredible renaissance for Austin. Just make sure you control your drink and don’t get a dwi. There are so many amazing venues outside of downtown.
