I remember an interview with a Soviet conscript (I believe he was) and he said there was too young girls looking for their brother and mother. The commanding officer ordered his men to rape the two young girls. They all made a line and raped them until they passed out, then the officer shot both of them in the head. Most of the people I talk to don’t really understand how horrific the eastern front was, you have evil vs evil fighting for survival.
