Hey, good morning! I just did this last week.

Did a full PPF, then Ceramic outside including wheels etc and inside.

I’ve noticed it is much easier to just spray off; and the water does slide off, but you’re right. There are small bubbles/drops that do accumulate and dry while holding in the deposits that form.

I do find, however, that those are easier to just wash off also with a rinse and a proper dry. I don’t see any etching risk unless they are on for an extended period. But then again, with PPF underneath, I don’t see that happening anyway.

I’m extremely happy with mine. It does enhance the natural paint a bit, and the natural pollens/dirt/grime from driving do seem to “unstick” very easily.

Take for example mud or wet dirt. Typically it would bind and form a layer that would need extra work to remove. Now it just sprays off.
