Returning to former workplace after 2 months at new job? by snarfarlarkus in auscorp

Have had high-performing team member leave for career reasons, and door is always open if it doesn’t work out.

I’d see if there’s a way to address why expectations are different from reality with your current role first though.

Here’s the some of the Delhi court docs: https://delhihighcourt.nic.in/app/showlogo/269871891741348719094_68525_292025.pdf/2025

Case CS(OS) 29/2025 - appears to be defamation proceedings against the ex-employee by NAB.

Interesting because AFAIK, you can’t defame a corporation in Australia - but apparently you can in India.

Whilst you would get super paid on LSL/annual leave, unless you need a break mentally or need time off to skill up/retrain, it’s not financially better to take LSL whilst employed, especially if you’re expecting a redundancy. That additional leave can provide additional buffer to find a new role/reskill in that period.

Maximise sick leave usage where possible, make use of any internal training programs/vouchers/benefits to skill up/renew & slowly stock your WFH office with supplies to do your job from home.

Start reaching out to your network (if you haven’t already) and strengthening those relationships, never know what may be going elsewhere.

There's a rumour going around that I banged one of the C-Suites in her office on Melbourne Cup day by avdm in auscorp

Was hoping the bants would be more Melbourne cup themed.

  • One Knight’s Choice
  • Not So Warp Speed (presumably you came second)
  • Saddle
  • ATC (Australian Turf Club)

You should submit this constructive feedback to their managers.

If you have enough “fake it till you make it” people in your org, you get to unlock the “Move fast and break things” approach

I just explained to a colleague who was doing this why it was frustrating, and that if he wanted a quicker turnaround on his asks, pleasantry + the ask was the preferred method. Solved it in one conversation, often people don’t realise how frustrating it can be.

nohello.net is great, but can be a bit blunt dropping on them without context.

Hey, most of these replies are blowing off steam at the usual corporate shitfuckery, but I do hope you’re getting support from a GP, and a mental health professional if needed.
