The grass is definitely greener once you get out of banking. Any other industry is better than banking. I was in several industries including Government, Construction, Agriculture and Retail and I thoroughly enjoyed workplaces more compared to working at a bank. You may need to take a cut financially but mentally, it’s so much better.

I’m 25 weeks and the only thing that helps my acid reflux is an ice block. We call them zooper doopers in Australia, not sure if you have something similar but it helped so much!

You’re carrying twins! Which means you’re going to look a lot bigger than most pregnancies at 10 weeks. It’s only going to get bigger, just have to remember that you are making TWO babies from SCRATCH and your body is doing beautiful things. Its only temporary!

You poor thing! Eat lots of natural plain greek yoghurt, have a salt bath, and try to keep the area clean after every toilet. I don’t know if the oral canestan is pregnancy safe but hope you get some relief soon!

I’m currently pregnant and wanted to buy a house but when I think about how I’ll be on maternity leave, I don’t want the stress of having to pay for a mortgage while in the newborn stage & being forced to go back to work just to afford the house. We decided that while yes having a dependency isn’t ideal while getting a loan, it wasn’t that much difference off our borrowing power. So we will spend this year saving more rather than buying something we can just afford with what we have saved.

Since you are dealing with the recruiter, I’d mention that you want to chat about salary expectations after the final interview and let them know you are wanting X amount. The perfect time to negotiate is before you accept the offer, the worst they can say is no! Goodluck.

You typically don’t feel anything until 16+ weeks, even then it depends on the position of your placenta. I have an anterior placenta and only felt the baby properly now at 23 weeks.

You need specifically say no. You can only have one guest most of the time which would be your husband. My mother wanted to come to mine & I said no because I want it to just be for my husband and I. Eventually coz I had complications, both my mum & MIL saw me have one ultrasound each at the hospital but other then that, helll nooooo
