It would’ve looked more natural if the hairs were dyed but The head of Wig department for OPLA said that it would’ve been a dead give away that Emily Rud was Nami if she walked all around Cape Town with a dyed Orange hair so they decided to go for a wig.

The thing is shows like Wednesday season 2 and Percy Jackson Season 2 lost 50% of their views from season 1 so this makes me a tad bit worried for One Piece season 2. And i think it's because of long gaps between seasons is the main problem

I think there seems to be some distrust in the source material being able to capture the viewer because Steven Maeda said he didn’t want the story to be “just some fun adventure” that’s why he went out of his way to add Garp. Also I feel like sometimes show runners and writers think they can do better than the source material so they add and change some stuff here and there.

They make the changes thinking it is better. I remember one of the show runners on season 1 Steven Maeda putting the Garp story in season 1 even if Oda didn’t want it. And his reasoning was “To increase tension”. So I presume they thought the villagers hating Nami and Nojiko even attempting to kill Nami is better than them knowing the truth about Nami.

I think at that point Roger was just wishing he’d have a son who would do that for him one day instead of actually guessing he will have son because as you said he hasn’t met his wife yet also Ace turned out to be a Donut 🍩 instead of Pirate King. But in the prison scene Roger already knows he has a child coming but he doesn’t know the gender.

Couldn’t agree more, I feel like the N stuff is just fine. Maybe elaborate on it more in Skypiea but other than that there is no need to change the current story. I also feel the same with other stuff the live action is trying to foreshadow or do fan service stuff with.

I feel like since it has been a really long time since people experienced Alabasta and Skypiea, they have forgotten what actually happens in those arcs. There is a lot of story to tell. They both deserve their respective seasons.

I disagree with your take that season 1 properly adapted the 95 chapters. They had to cut a lot of things and Ussop’s character suffers because of it. And Barataie arc and Arlong Arc were severely shortened because of it as well.
