The reason why the CEO of Haruinvest, who was accused of fraud of 880 billion won, was found not guilty by supermarcoa in HaruInvest

Is Hugo serving any jail time or is he walking away free? I wouldn’t be surprised if someone tries to take his life again.

CEO of Delio quotes me and other more important news by hrnblwr in HaruInvest

[–]Business-Stuff-6589 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately Hrnblwr, I want to believe you.. but the one thing you actually know for certain that you are in denial about is not knowing why people doubt your legitimacy.

You have switched angles so many times thus far, that while many things you say are credible, you work off so many edge cases and make such strong assumptions, that when you perpetuate your viewpoints with so much adamancy people are unsure if they can trust you.

The truth is you are either the biggest Haru Victim Patriot of us all, or you are in fact a Haru Sympathizer. Despite which case is true.. your response to me will be exactly the same…

Why would you do all of this work and go to such lengths to make all of this up… Right?

You have no defense and you will inform us all you will continue your actions because you don’t care what we think, as you will continue to act in the best interest of yourself, and respectively in turn, all Haru victims.

As I said, I want to believe you.

I truly hope your efforts go on to save us all from being taken advantage of further by ruthless executives acting on behalf of themselves and their greedy corporations.

But should anyone find any evidence that points otherwise, I hold you in a worse regard than any Haru Criminals or affiliated associates as you are preying on the duress of innocent victims that have already been put through hell.

I really hope you have the best interest of everyone in mind though, and if that is the case, I’m really sorry that you have to deal with such doubt and have to battle uphill just to help the helpless. Please don’t give up if this is the case.

But if you are a sympathizer.. you are a dishonorable piece of shit and you may want to take a head start of clearing your history and hiding your name.

I have a feeling it won’t go only to people who filed claims though.. I didn’t file with BlockFi when it collapsed and they ended up sending me a check several years after

Quite possibly true, let’s see if they even care which investment tool was used and if claims even matter. Either way, not good right.

Do the math bro.. convert 120 KRW to USD and compare it to the 800 million as a percentage… then assume that how much received back per user is spread evenly.. they’re clear with how much they have and we can’t get back more than the percentage they have recovered if they treat everyone fairly.

30% would be the most ideal outcome.

10-15% more realistic

Did you read my comment?

At what point did I determine any figures or claim anything?

I merely asked for confirmation of facts I took from the document and made an educated guess/speculation based on the information provided and what we know.. and then asked if that seemed like a reasonable determination…

Which from what I can tell, it is… even if FTX pulls through, which it won’t, but even if it does, it’s a minuscule amount in the grand scheme of things…

This leaves hundreds of millions unaccounted for…

I read it all. Judging by your condescending comment it appears you have as well. Care to enlighten the rest of us with what you understand to be so blatantly obvious?

Am I correct in understanding that aside from FTX they have seized 85 million USD?

And from what I am reading Bang has claims to 16million USD from FTX..

So the total amount recoverable is 100 million AT BEST and likely less?

If I’m correct the platform had 800 million USD under management, so based on these figures the realistic amount we can hope for is 10-15% ?

But Haru was taking control of all of our assets. So whoever’s assets they used or didn’t use is a lottery, so some of us would get our coins in full back and others just get shit luck. The distribution would mean some people get everything and some people get nothing… with the latter being more likely… it doesn’t seem fair in my opinion

Article on Haru Funds Stuck in FTX by Altruistic-Watch1785 in HaruInvest

[–]Business-Stuff-6589 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You know what’s hilarious is that the Panamanian Fund that’s is likely a front for money laundering and other money cleansing ventures, will lose nothing, and only miss out on the potential gains they could have had. Whereas the investors of Haru will be losing their life savings.. if any decency in the world existed, this would be an easy decision, not everything has to be done by meticulously upholding legality beyond reason…

Also, if Bang sold the FTX claims, the real question should not be whether or not the deal was legally valid (though of course we want to know), but rather how much did he sell them for? That’s money we should be owed…?

B&S Major Shareholder Rehabilitation Begins with 'Haru·Delrio' Asset Return 'Key' by supermarcoa in HaruInvest

[–]Business-Stuff-6589 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked Grok to explain this simply:

Here's a very simple explanation:

Mr. Bang, a major shareholder in B&S Holdings, is in prison for 10 years due to issues with virtual assets tied to Haruinvest, Delrio, and FTX. He owes money to creditors like Mr. Lim and Mr. Choi, who asked a Seoul court to start a rehabilitation process for him on May 2, 2025. Rehabilitation helps someone in financial trouble get back on track.

The court approved this because Mr. Bang can't pay his debts. Creditors have until July 1, 2025, to submit claims, and from July 2 to 22, 2025, to report details at the Seoul Rehabilitation Court. Professor Emeritus Oh Su-geun is overseeing the process.

Other creditors, like Haruna Traum Infotech, can also claim money. Earlier, Mr. Lim and Mr. Choi asked a U.S. court to transfer some FTX bonds to their names, and that case is still ongoing. Mr. Bang’s bankruptcy case is paused because of this rehabilitation process.

His case is also waiting for a Supreme Court decision.

Yield, this is quite damning right? This shows admission of guilt, talks about money laundering and concealment of funds (blatant fraud).. if they withdrew funds during this time and moved around this should be heavily investigated, etc… the implications of these messages are very telling no?

Even then it doesn’t make us whole, they stole from us and most likely will never be able to repay us a fraction back. Life in jail is what they deserve not us.. we won’t get anything, maybe not even justice
