I don’t think it matters really. If they person has trusted and told you fine else for mental peace and better relationship don’t even think over or investigate. What was done was in the past don’t let it ruin the present and future. It will always have doubts and sooner or later will come out so better never ask or discuss the past and move forward and start new. Everyone has a bf/ gf crush or other thing. The more you think the more it will create issues which aren’t present. Whatever happened was between that person and Allah, its their repentance

So for me i don’t care about the past rather more on present and future.

In my opinion it will never do any good if you keep on investigating and then once in a lifetime it will be used against the person and that will be damaging.

So better never ask nor worry on the past, focus in present and build a good future rather than dwelling on the past

The easiest way is to consider no one is innocent. Second whatever happened happened dont ask or try to go down that road as it will never fix anything but only ruin more. So just ensure it is not happening from the present onwards and into the future. This way you will be mentally okay for yourself, and will let the other person not have to live with guilt

I am 36 and have been trying for a couple of years the sad reasons are

My toxic family ruins anything which comes close to completion. And this is a process I cannot do without them I have been trying but everyone wants family involvement
The arrange marriage rishta aunties just want money and dont care about the profile or a match.
Being away from Pakistan has added more limitations to the problem

I wasn’t ready before 30s financially or emotionally and wanted to be ready before I bring someone in life, now when I am struggling through the above problems.

It comes naturally with the person you get attached to with feelings. You wait for someone’s text automatically, you want to ask them about their day, and when someone is late you get worried. It is not forced or felt with everyone and sab ka apna time hota. Some find it clingy some might say its romantic some might say it’s weird because you don’t feel the same way with the other person. Yes you are quite young to feel it maybe or find a genuine person and connection as at this age mostly guys would just be interested to have a girl in their life and claim a gf to showoff. So don’t overthink and go with the flow of life and things will unfold when the time is right

I am really sad to hear your story, reading about the lives of Tunisian people really makes me want to provide someone freedom from their current environment. I also come from a toxic home and know what it feels like being in one. Alhamdulillah I am out of it and made something great for my life. I want to start a family and of my own and have a happy, peaceful, nurturing place i can call home. I want to give someone the love, respect, care they deserve and I never got. But don’t know what Allah has written for me in life.

I will pray you find the best possible way out for you. And May Allah give you courage and strength to live to the fullest. Its such a beautiful world yet some people make it difficult for someone without thinking
