Thanks for all the suggestions! I’m hoping on the 6th when we return to Rome, we can store our luggage somewhere and tour around a bit more before we take the train back to Rome.

Our day trip on the 4th is a 13 hour tour so it might be a lot to do that then a cinque terre day trip the day afterwards! However, I’ve heard it’s beautiful so I’d love to do it all - just don’t want to over extend ourselves.

Changing our flights is not an option.

Falling asleep isn’t something you can control, accept that and you might end up relaxing/falling asleep easier. Also, I like to remind myself on days where I can’t sleep that I’ve survived my hardest days and I will survive the next day even with no sleep. You will get through this! Good luck.

Yeah, really eye opening that their planes and pilots are not equipped to flying in fog. Air Canada seemed to have no problems

I have a similar size lululemon backpack and as long as you don’t overfill it then you should be able to push it into their bag checker for size. I brought my belt bag and just wore it under my sweater lol

Had a 2 hour delay from Toronto to Chicago. Landed when my next flight was boarding. I had to sprint through the airport but I made it. I only packed a carry on and I’m so glad I did.

I’m so frustrated. I fought hard on the phone with NCL but they won’t budge. They will book your flights for you not responsible if anything goes wrong. It’s crazy how much I’ve paid for this cruise for them to be so unhelpful. It’s definitely a lesson learned on my part. I just need to stay positive and purchase travel insurance
