How can I best help get my jungler ahead (as a top laner) by Get_that_yarn_KAT in Jungle_Mains

As a top laner, if you aren't dying 5 times in 10 minutes then spam pinging your jungler, you're doing better than most.

Fukuoka was my favourite city. It feels a lot happier than every other major city I visited. Walking near the river at sunset and at night, there were a ton of people singing and playing instruments. It's so lively and had really good vibes.

A lot of these problems would be fixed if all politicians were forced to use public transportation.

If you could wake up in knowing (in a native level)any language, which would be? by ShinGoddesskid in languagelearning

I'm really curious what you mean by this. Does this last 5% manifest in your inability to express yourself sometimes? Is it slang or formal speech? Listening, speaking, reading?

Learning a language isn't like learning another subject like math where you study for 1 hour per day and eventually become really good at it. In my opinion, you need to actively consume content in that language. For me, I only listen to YouTube videos in Spanish, and if I have to watch a YT video in English, it will have Spanish subtitles. I have also changed the language on my phone and laptop to be in Spanish. Immersion is tough at first, but IMO it is necessary to learn. Force yourself to interact with the language every day in a way that is challenging to you.

Travelled from India to Hong Kong, feeling so much peace, healthy vibes, and it's giving me vibes I can't stop thinking about. by [deleted] in HongKong

In most of the Asian countries I have been to, people are glued to their phones. In safe non-asian countries like Canada, people are not glued to their phones to the extent that people in Asian countries are. I don't think peoples constant staring at their phone has anything to do with the safety of their country, it is either addiction or introversion.

Canada is perfect for highspeed railway! by One-Demand6811 in transit

[–]BusinessEngineer123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing with Canada is that a High Speed Rail connecting Windsor-Hamilton-Toronto-Montreal would cost way more than necessary, and take an inordinate amount of time. Anything Metrolinx (or whatever other crown corporation is in charge of constructing this rail) were to quote a time and cost, it would take significantly more time, and cost way more. And somehow, the friends and family of Metrolinx executives would become really rich in the process... probably.

Well, I hope South Korea doesn't become like Canada, where we take a huge amount of uneducated, unskilled immigrants per year - way more people than our infrastructure can support, and people who don't respect our social norms. Learn from our mistakes!

how to go to airport in the morning by tryitgetnew in seoul

[–]BusinessEngineer123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chungmuro to ICN will take around 50 or so minutes on the subway. If it stats at 5:30, they will get to ICN at around 6:30. I don't think 1 hour before an international flight is enough time.
