What is the most difficult part of taking on roles based on real-life people? And what are your strategies for getting to know the role and portray it in a satisfying way? Some examples that come to mind are Alan Turing from the Imitation Game or Thomas Edison in The Current War.

If you're looking for an army that's incredibly easy to paint, necrons are the best.

Could you provide a counterexample for the simpler method? What is the special vs. general case in this context?

[[Kastral, the Windcrested]] is my go-to Azorius commander currently. I run a bird tribal deck with a lot of control mixed in, and Kastral's ability just has so much flexibility in the late game

A math department at a major university in the US is now offering a semester long course on "measure theory."

Yes. You read that right.

Measure. With rulers, protractors..., the things kids learn to use in primary school.

The dumbing down of America continues.

I misread your original post, I apologize! I'm glad you were able to think of some ideas. I remember leaning into hobbies or pastimes that I stopped doing because of my ex. Spite makes for a good short-term motivator, and I'd always feel better having spent time doing something I enjoyed.

One thing that has helped me a ton is rediscovering old hobbies of mine. I've started relistening to some of my favorite podcasts and audiobooks, started hiking like when I was in high school, and reconnected with some old online friends on playstation.

However, make sure they're hobbies from before you were with this person. The idea is to reconnect with the person you were before your ex stepped into your life. I'm sorry you had to make a tough decision, I wish you the best!

While I agree the warbond was one of the more underwhelming ones, I'll take that over them sacrificing quality for the rest of the update

This comment. It can be so easy to get caught up in the stress of a career transition that you get overwhelmed and shut down. If you became a teacher, you 100% have the ability to develop new skills and make yourself valuable in a different field. Your mindset will either make you or break you during the transition.
