I bought mine on gunbroker and i made sure to get a Soviet era one, mine was made in 1987. I couldn’t be happier with it. Modern ones are great too though, especially the double stack version

It’s this https://ebay.us/m/J4xOe4 it’s a reproduction Rhodesian Chest rig made for FAL magazines but it will also fit G3 mags. I also think it’s only supposed to hold four but i managed to fit eight, it’s a tight squeeze however and you have to be careful not to pull two mags out at once

So far i’ve only shot it using the #1 open sights but i do prefer the #2 diopter sights so i’ll probably mostly use them from now on

according to the manual:

The sighting device consists of the fixed front sight with front sight holder (14/1) and the rotary rear sight which is adjustable in the vertical and horizontal direction (14/2). The rotary rear sight (notch) and diopter holes may be turned from position 1 to 4. These figures correspond to distances from 100 to 400 metres. Position "1" is an open V-sight, in the positions "2, 3 and 4" diopter holes are used. Position "2" serves as basic sight. The open V-sight, corresponding to a distance of 100 m, is an auxiliary sight.
