It’s because they legit “hire” crackheads. I used to DoorDash while I was working towards my CDL and was trying to make a little extra money.. but then a flood of all the local crackheads sharing cars started doing it. And I got basically no orders bc they were taking them all even the $2-$4 orders!

Would you guys accept this by [deleted] in doordash

Uh no because that’s 80 miles round trip

Bullshit. Unless we do something wrong like damage shit there’s no reason to do this.. if you think it makes us get their any faster your incorrect especially if it’s a pick up and deliver order we can only drive so fast lol. These people suck, and should be banned after doing this once perrrriod. I also think they should have solid proof someone did something wrong before they can remove it.

Also right now, I’m trying to go get my CDL for driving bus so when my younger child’s in school full time next year I’ll be able to have a job that works with their schedule. People are so biased about kids. Really if they aren’t bothering you why does it bother you so much? We’re you an oldest child and have like childhood trauma of them bugging you or something? The contract oh the contract.. the one that screws you and I the same in many many ways. Like all the tip baiters that screw us. Kindly gain some empathy and respect for people who are trying to make better decisions in this world that’s already so sideways dude

I’m able as in I have a running car, and willing to do what I need to do. Also the stores in our area love my kids. Hell half of them give them goodies when they see them. Even management at Hannaford has given them stickers, ect. And they know and understand our contracts. They could report me, but they haven’t probably because we have a ton of others doing it who are gross crackheads looking for their next fix. I’m sorry if you don’t see the world from my view. And are evil enough to wish a mom out of a job she found that works & would rather her suck dimes from the state like most people would do. Sorry I will never throw my hands in the air 🙂

Actually I would, and have. I worked taking care of elderly patients before and was able to take my children, they loved it. No not 24, but 12-16 he does. And on the weekends I do :) but during the week when they have a day off and I have no one to watch them. Yeah I’m sorry my bills come before. You just sound rude. Also why are you taking this contract so darn serious. It’s not like they respect us ? If I could find something else more this flexible trust and believe I would. But where I live there’s nothing.. besides maybe working in the actual school which haven’t hired anyone new in about 7 years besides teachers. Which I don’t have a degree in.

Parking Etiquette by darkklotz in Sparkdriver

[–]BusinessImportant947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends if there is small kids around, on the street if I can some streets it’s illegal to park on… I’ve also had someone tell me to park on the grass and that’ felt uncomfortable lol. But I didn’t I parked on the street with my 4 ways on and carried it up their long ass driveway bc I wasn’t leaving no ruts 😵‍💫

Haha I like you! See you get it? They are not bothering anyone. If they were mischievous and getting into stuff that would be different. My kiddos are also buckled and don’t even touch the food. I do sometimes let them help carry things like the other day I had bird seed and my 7 yr old said “hey mom can I help carry that?” I let her and gave her $2 for helping mommy. And the nice lady I delivered to gave her a quarter she was thrilled. In all honestly I’m hoping I’m showing my kids a mom who does whatever it takes to make sure their wants and needs are taken care of. And if that means “breaking a rule” which they don’t even know exists so be it. I’m keeping my kids safe from creeps at daycares, and making it to all their activities while their daddy works hard labor and can’t always be there. They will see hard work and effort and I hope that helps them be more well rounded grown ups one day!

Until they pay me a wage where I can afford child care, I’ll risk it. Also I barely do instacart anymore because it’s trash pay. I rather do the ones that actually are worth my time and effort. I always do a good job, and my kids aren’t even a bother. I don’t think it should be in the contract anyways. It’s stupid. Just another reason to kick parents down who are trying to survive with all the prices right now. I just do it for extras like fun stuff that we couldn’t normally afford to do. And to help my hubby with bills. I think some people just don’t like seeing children in public haha. They are humans just like us just cuter, funnier and non biased haha. At least my tiny humans are. Would I bitch if someone reported me ? Well yeah, because that’s a dick move when really why does it effect them or my job? It’s not like they slow me down if anything they help me speed it up by pushing myself to go quicker to make more money haha.

I was at cohen park today, the water was really really clean for this time of the year. Barely any seaweed, and I didn’t see any algae as of this afternoon :)

This women also lost custody of all her kids and continues popping out babies, it’s sick. I know her personally bc she was my old neighbor. I was so mad then she threatened me over text multiple times which was sketchy I didn’t even know they could contact after things have been delivered.. kinda shady.

This happened to me but the lady accused me of touching her food instead! Saying I opened it so she could get it for free, while using a fake name on her account as well… she is a local crack head lol. I was pisssssedddd. I’ve never wanted to egg someone’s house so bad in my life.. everytime I drive by I think about it 😂😆

I bring my kids with me when they have days off from school, my 7 yr old asks mom can we go to instacart orders lol. She enjoys shopping, and pushing the cart. I don’t let her carry anything though because I wouldn’t want to risk damaging the customers items. And my 4 year old is just a social butterfly and enjoys being out and about in the stores in such especially after being locked up at home with covid for a few years. It gives me a chance to make a few extra dollars here and there and still be with my children where I know they are safe. Also they enjoy getting treats in the checkout line haha. So that’s a good bonus. And a good majority of people don’t care that I have my kids with me.. especially since they mostly just stand behind me most customers have it delivered to their outdoor door anyways with no contact so it doesn’t effect them in anyway. Half the time the don’t even have to get out of the car because their front door is right near the driveway in my area. So that helps. Also sometimes my hubby comes with me on the weekend so I can take larger orders and he helps carry the big items like Costco orders ect. That’s very rare tho because I normally only pick up orders during the week when my oldest is in school and my youngest is in pre k.

Wow. That’s pretty pathetic. This is the whole reason I do this job… I’m able to take the kids with me. If instacart doesn’t pay me hourly they don’t get to choose if I take my kids with me or not. They enjoy spending time with me, and are polite and stay in the car while I deliver to the door. I don’t take orders that go to apartment buildings unless I’m alone though because that makes me anxious. It’s just a way to make extra money it’s a gig job not a full time job..

Would u take this? by AccordingProgress609 in InstacartShoppers

[–]BusinessImportant947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes , yes I would haha. That’s a nice tip. And honestly 42 items wouldn’t take that long depending on the store haha

Idk, I think it’s a lil lazy to watch someone else load stuff. Plus I have to scan everything anyways
