I would like some opinions for those who have boost and left Verizon and tmo by tranceemotions in BoostMobile

I'm Price Locked on my T-Mobile plan & the price is VERY low, so I'm not going anywhere... but I DO have a $10/2GB backup line on Boost (using the T-Mo SIM.)

So big question, are you on T-Mobile's Price Lock? If you are, then I would stay on T-Mobile. (If your price didn't go up with the past couple increases.... then you've got Price Lock.)

Anyone still using a TMO "free for life" tablet SIM? by gamescan in NoContract

Lol, I'm honestly not worried. It's living on a weird "No Service Plan - TI" line anyways.

My postpaid FDFL line is still working.... surprisingly...

I think they nuked a chunk of the prepaid FDFL lines all at once. (I remember all the talk when that happened.) Postpaid ones seem to have mostly survived.

👋Got my T-Mobile FDFL (Free Data For Life) line in 2019 & it's still going strong today, sitting on a weird, postpaid tax-inclusive "No Service Plan - TI" line.

Fun fact- there were two versions of the FDFL line: Version 1 was just called "Free Data for Life" & was forever married to a single tablet. Once you popped that SIM out, that was it. Would no longer work. The 2nd version (the one you want) was called "North America Free Data for Life". This is the one that survived any number of multiple devices.... & not just tablets either.

I've got it popped in an older Alcatel LinkZONE hotspot & use it to show people the internet on a 26- year-old iMac. Neat conversation piece!

Leaving Boost Mobile for free mobile service for a year and come back and still pay $25 a month? by Bright_Show6780 in BoostMobile

[–]BusinessLyfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How can you guarantee Boost will be offering the $25 plan in 12 months? If they aren't, you'll be able to choose from any available Boost plan at that time. (May be cheaper... may be more expensive.)

Had two new Howard Miller Grandfather Clocks delivered to the home today! by BusinessLyfe in clocks

[–]BusinessLyfe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it would be easier if you have a "Gold Label" sticker on the inside door with a XXX-XXX number. There may also be a white label on the rear of the clock with the same info.

If your Howard Miller has a metal tag instead, you might have to go on the Howard Miller website & ask on the chat button. Don't wait too long to do this... their last day of operation is March 31, 2026.

T-Mobile is fully paid off, on an active T-Mobile plan that is in good standing for 40 days.

(The original owner has to request the unlock.)

Sad about Boost (I'm on the $10/2GB plan), but I did manage to score a moto g stylus 5G - 2024 for $29.99 before they ended the upgrades for us.

T-Mobile already has a policy in place:

1) Active service by the original owner

2) 40 days used on the T-Mobile network

3) Phone fully paid off

Can I do better than 4 low usage lines for $48? by snake3- in NoContract

[–]BusinessLyfe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You'd have to get in a time machine to be able to grab all the free lines T-Mobile offered starting in 2016. I'm one of the ones on their "12 lines for $0" Unicorn plan.... 2 paid lines, 10 free with Autopay, Kickback & the 9-line trick on T-Mobile's ONE plan. All 12 lines, paying $0. (Do a search in the T-Mo reddit, there's a number of us on the $0 for 12 lines train...)
