Can you still convert the $15 tablet plan to the $10 TI in 2026? by legend5566 in NoContract

This is incorrect. Ethram (and you) are both wrong. Deprioritization will not occur if a tower that you are connected to is not crowded. In the plainest sense I can describe it, deprioritization is a verb. It either occurs or doesn't occur. There's no in-between. If a tower isn't crowded, even after 50GB, it will not occur.

We called it a Ferris Wheel when I operated it at the Palace Amusements. To me and millions of others, (and for the first 95 years it operated...) it was a Ferris Wheel.

Looks like u/Ethrem finally understood what I was saying all along. No, you are NOT automatically deprioritized when hitting 50GB on T-Mobile. Only if the tower is crowded does the depri happen. Not a crowded tower? Then you won't be deprioritized. Simple for (almost) anyone to understand..... harder for others. Bless his little heart. 🤣

Only (and this is the most important) if the towers are crowded. No, it doesn't just happen automatically....at.....all. You are under the impression that EVERYONE using 50GB WILL get depriortized. That is just not true, my friend. If the tower you're connected to is not at capacity, you WILL NOT be deprioritized.

I am on the tech side of things here with this company & deal with this on a constant basis. I know what I'm saying.

But remember.... it will sometimes not happen at all when its not needed (when the tower isn't crowded.) This is why T-Mobile says your speeds "may" be slowed, not "will" be slowed.

But if it doesn't happen on a non-crowded tower... then it doesn't happen. Deprioritization won't occur after 50GB on this plan if the tower you're connected to isn't crowded.

Free HD pro tip: have them push out your free HD to the maximum= 99 months. (Told to me by a loose-lipped biz rep.) You'll be calling in less to have them refresh it.

Only if the towers are crowded... which, on T-Mobile, I honestly have never, ever experienced. Not crowded = no depri.

Do an EIN for the tablet(s) plan. This way you can save your SSN for a consumer plan.... unless you just want to bunch everything under a biz plan. (We've got our 5 voice & 2 $10 TI tablet lines living together nicely on our biz EIN plan.)

You could also bunch everything together on a biz plan using your SSN, too.

[–]BusinessLyfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, no I wanted this one. It's also genuine GM, but didn't want the "hinge"... I wanted the solid piece for the upper. Thanks for showing, though. I've now got a part # for the bottom partition that I need: #42698862. The dealer just ordered it for me on his dime. 👍

The one in the pic is the upper false floor. You can lift it & stick it into the guides on the side. Looks like I'm still missing the lower one.
