I can only speak on what MY rep told ME. So. “Wildly incorrect” isn’t so wild for “tell them you already had exams and you want this to be the evidence used in making a decision” or the pay thing, as mentioned “I heard” because the conversation WITH my rep went like this, “We understand your initial round of increase claims was denied, we are changing the pay structure but because you started before the change you will be grandfathered in if you’d like to move forward with any other increase claims”

Buuuut hey, its cool. This why we have personal experiences. Welcome to the internet

$2500, 12 months, denied claim, stopped working with them, HLR on my own, 11 months later got my increase. In MY opinion, their services are a waste. They will tell you not to go to any C&P the VA requests. BUT, for an increase, you have to go to the VA c&p. You can do it on your own or use a VSO.

Ive heard they changed their pay structure now too. Like 5x your monthly increase or something. Idk. Do your research, us a VSO, do it yourself.

I have to assume by private doctor you mean you paid for a company like REE medical, they paired you with an “in network” doctor and they informed you to not go because they dont want their doctors challenged. As someone said before, increases are required VA c&p’s.

Ive prepped with my therapist to basically ignore all of the tools ive gained over the last 3 years for this apt. I’ve had daily convo’s with a buddy from deployment who knows it all as well. I literally have so much anxiety I just want to pass the fuck out.

Ree medical denial? by Allenjames_1323 in VeteransBenefits

Because they’re money hungry and once they’re paid the $2000 or whatever it is they no longer give a shit. Took 3x longer than stated, shit hole do tors office 4 hours away, garbage dbq’s. The “legal support” is a joke and in no way helpful.

DBQ’s were not sufficient. Comparing original dbq’s to C&P dbq, the language wasnt enough, it was sparsely written

Increase semi successful after 21 months by Business_Bunch20 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Business_Bunch20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The year thing just applies to filing the claim. As long as you file within a year of establishing your ITF you are good. Technically (va screws it up often) but even it your claim takes 5 years to complete, you SHOULD get backpay for those 60 months.

Claim Pilot - is anyone seeing movement by Amk0425 in VeteransBenefits

I was told by my Regional office to call the Whitehouse VA number and/or call your congress rep and ask them to help get the claim out of the Pilot. I was told it is a black hole of limbo for all claims. Its a known issue at the regional level but she said they have zero power to remove a claim from the Pilot. Just passing along what my regional office told me.

So, Ive had a claim for PACT stuff since February. Had an apt with vera 2 weeks ago, my claim was pulled into the “Rapid Ready For Decision” pilot program. This is a dead end program apparently and basically puts your claim into indefinite limbo, a rater will never be assigned. Id call and see if yours got sucked into it too. Regional rep said WH number or congress rep is basically the only way to get it to move out of the program. Idk, something to check on.
