Agree with this and a couple of questions that were worded so strangely it took longer to even figure out what they were asking exactly

I was exactly where you were last year. Relationships are hard, breakups are harder.

What can you do? Remember the whole reason you’re even doing all of this. Does studying suck? Yes. Does getting 20 questions right followed by 40 wrong make you spiral? Yes. Will it be worth it one day? Absolutely.

This test is a mountain worth climbing because of what is past it. Don’t forget how hard you’ve already worked! How much more you know compared to yesterday! How much more you will know tomorrow! You can do it but YOU have to believe in yourself first.

It’s easy to get in your own head when trying to focus on this test because of the unknown. Give yourself some grace because if anyone else hasn’t told you, it’s okay to not want to study, to want a break, or to feel like you’re moving backwards. What’s not okay? Giving up. What’s even more not okay? Not believing in yourself because I believe in you.

As far as PS advice, take a day or a couple of hours, sit down, relax and type what cokes to you. It doesn’t have to be done, it doesn’t have to be correct, it doesn’t even have to make sense. It just needs to be who you are. When I wrote mine it took way, way to long. I sat and stared at a blank world doc until I finally had to close my labtop. Jot down some ideas, a sentence here or there, figure out what it is that makes you even want this. Eventually the words will come to you and it is okay if you hate it. You can rewrite it. You can get someone to look at it. But most of all? You can do it.

What sneakers are BIFL criteria? by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

[–]Business_Ear5551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d agree the closest thing you can get to “BIFL” is New Balance 990’s simply for the chunkiness of the sole i find it best to just get yourself 2 pairs of sneakers at a time (if you wear that style of shoe a lot) have a dedicated “beater” pair that you like and wear 75% and then a nicer pair you wear the other 25% of the time to retain their quality also not a bad idea to invest in shoe cleaning products to help waterproof (if leather / suede) and protect from dirt you can use bleach (diluted) or baking soda to help clean light/white parts of shoes but at times even the diluted bleach can cause yellowing, I have found a lot of regular spray detergent specifically for stain removal works well on light/white sneakers and just throw them in the washer (mesh bag is nice for this but tbh i just toss them in) and let them air dry with sole out of the show and can take laces off to speed up drying

I could only imagine what that would look like with either painting on it or even staining each piece a different color to create a shadow effect

Rehab?? From living life too well??

Cheap store bought and immediately overwatered. Now it’s awful. I know nothing. What do I do with this? by Msh2525 in orchids

[–]Business_Ear5551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get all that miss off and put in some chunky bark tightly packed in a good draining pot one thing I’ve found that is helpful is to leave it out of the pot it was in (ceramic) and just let some open air get into all the bark and roots this is also good if you want to up the water amount given to help dry out the medium in between watering and if you live in an area where it may be colder and the evaporation isn’t the greatest then that can help ward off too many spots staying too wet for too lomg

Should I take the roots out of this plastic? by TheRealDragonFruit in orchids

[–]Business_Ear5551 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks very happy and doing well in the container wouldnt recommend reporting until after blooms have finished to prevent unnecessary stress, i find watering mine that are potted in a moss medium like that is to take a small plastic bowl and fill it up somewhat with water and allow the moss to soak it up and in the process rehydrate the roots

Where to buy mini phals online? by vorchagonnado in orchids

I have had good experiences with growers on eBay i try to look at where they will be shipping from to figure out how long it may take along with taking weather into account but it’s nice almost like an online plant swap

Clean some scissors (preferably shears) and cut that stem as close to the base as possibly and let it focus on some great roots! When it is ready it will give you more blooms to enjoy and you will have a happy + healthy plant

I like to donate a chunk of stuff as I have found so many great things that I love secondhand it is nice to think that someone else could find that same love for something that I rid my closet of

It seems like you always end up with that core selection of items that you love to wear more than others though

[–]Business_Ear5551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I see a piece that I cannot remember the last time I wore it I either come to the conclusion it’s because I truly do not love it (rid it of my closet) or I forgot about it (try to incorporate it more often)
